So I normally don’t leave reviews for businesses but…..here we are. I’ll start at the beginning, Saturday I got a brand new tire from a friend of my mom, from a company he owns. Yesterday I took the tire with me to Big A’s because they said that it would be $35 to out the tire on so I said okay and went and got it done. I went to class and then from there went home and didn’t go anywhere else. I woke up the next morning got in the car to drive and the tire I just got put on was flat ish. Since it was early I took it to Take 5 a they put air in it and my mom asked if I had watched them put the tire on the at before to which I replied that I didn’t the whole time, she said it was possible they did something to the new tire or possibly switched my new one for a used one anyways…then my mom called to see if something could be done. They asked if we still had the receipt (I did) and so before my afternoon class I went back to them. I explained to them the situation and the guy went on to say that the tire looked bad I’m like well…the one I brought in was brand new so I don’t understand how my tire was flat this morning and he goes I don’t know it’s nothing we an do about it though. Before I begin, I want to say that I’ve never left a review for any business before. I believe no one is perfect, and things can go wrong in any place of business. That’s why I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. But this time, I felt like I had to speak up especially for people like me who are new to Tallahassee. A few weeks ago, I needed new tires for my truck. Since I’m still getting to know the area, I asked around for recommendations. Both my classmates and my mechanic pointed me toward Big A’s Tire Shop at 2130 Lake Bradford Road. They told me the place had a good reputation for quality used tires and good customer service. So, I trusted their word and went to check it out. When I got there, I was surprised to find that the price I had been told to expect had suddenly doubled. But my tires were already bald, and I didn’t have much of a choice as I needed replacements. They suggested a set of tires they said would work well with my truck. Before installing them, they told me the truck might shake a little because It needed an alignment. I asked about the cost of the alignment, and they quoted me nearly $200, which I declined. I had a very bad experience with them today been going there for years a rookie started working guess a wanna be bird man talking about how much money he got instead of putting on my tire it’s just it’s blow me I rushed over here from Marianna to get the tire very disappointed never had business did like this I came to maxis to get a brand new tire good friendly service and was happy and gone about my day and road side assistance . Don’t never go big A again….
